homoclinic solutions and chaotic behaviour for a class of rapidly forced second order Hamiltonian systems.

Abstract : we prove that a class of systems of the form $-\ddot{q} + q = (1 + a(\omega t) + b(t / \omega))V'(q)$ has a chaotic behaviour provided: $a$ and $b$ are periodic, $\omega$ is small, $V: R^n \to \R$ is superquadratic.
