Hamiltonian Dynamics of Poincare's "orbites à chocs"

Abstract : In Chapter XXXII of Les méthodes nouvelles de la mécanique céleste, Poincaré claimed existence of orbits of the three-body problem which in the limit as two of the masses go to zero (but with well defined ratio) tend to piecewise ellipses with a collision at each point of change of direction. His proof looks to me like wishful thinking, but the idea is good and I will provide a proof.
