All the events occurring during the 1995-1996 period do not present the same interest for a future analysis of their observations. More, some will be easy to observe and the others not so easy. The proximity of a bright planet, the faintness of some satellites will make the observations difficult to get with a good signal/noise ratio.
In order to give the predicted dates of the events, we published data in Icarus, volume 105, page 427. The selection for the best observations may be made using several softwares or tables. First, we have to select events occurring when Saturn is above the horizon and the Sun below. Second, we will select events adapted to the receptor used : only anti-blooming CCD will have access to events occurring near the rings or the limb of Saturn. The softwares described by W. Thuillot in the previous paper may be used for that purpose and will give the configuration of the saturnian system at the dates of each event. The events may also be sorted in order to select the ones the magnitude drop of which is sufficient for observation.
All the data are available on the server FTP Anonymous of Bureau des longitudes (ftp.imcce.fr) or by mail upon request. The next tables gives the list of the events which are the easiest to observe and the most interesting for future analysis.
