Conclusions

The observations of Saturn's satellites mutual phenomena will provide very high precision astrometric measurements to improve the knowledge of their dynamical motion. Notwithstanding spacecraft missions have visited the saturnian satellites, the next mutual eclipses campaign will be also useful for physical investigations into the atmospheres and for photometric study of the surface of involved bodies. Results as those obtained in the Galilean satellites campaigns, are more difficult to obtain because of the limited data and the smaller size of the satellites. But, good seeing, appropriate photometric observations, the use of particular CCD acquisition techniques and filters centered on the near infrared methane will make it possible to obtain a lot of data that could be helpful also to the preparation of the next spacecraft missions in the Saturnian system. The intrinsic observation difficulties can be counter-balanced by a large number of coordinate observers, therefore it is important to call for a numerous participation in the PHESAT95 international campaign.
