     The paper concerns the connection between astronomical
and geophisical data - the correlation between irregularities
in the Earth's rotation and powerful earthquakes
in XYIII-XX centuries. The predicting of earthquakes is a topical
practical problem. The investigation of such correlation can
make it possible to improve the reliability of this predicting.
