THE RECONCILIATION of OPTICAL and RADIO REFERENCE FRAMES S.P. Pouliaev (*) Pulkovo Observatory, St.Petersburg, Russia A.H. Andrei Observatorio Nacional, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ABSTRACT We present a selected list of radio positions of stars, with the aim to contribute for the reconciliation of the optical and radio reference frames. The positions are analyzed from the point of view of the radio facility, where they have been obtained. There is a total of 65 stars, being 6 from the IRAM interferometer, 3 from the Hat Creek interferometer, 33 from the VLA operating in the continuum mode, 15 from VLA line mode observations and 8 obtained by VLBI. The radio positions are compared against the CAMC optical system. The analysis shows agreement between the radio results from the different facilities, accounting for the different error thresholds. The connection between the optical and the radio stars' secondary reference frames is discussed. (*) On leave at Observatorio Nacional, Brazil
